I created this juice to hero the power of the colour ORANGE in fruits and vegetables.

Orange vegetables and fruits get their vibrant color from beta-carotene, a form of Vitamin A that is converted by the body and acts as an antioxidant. They also contain alpha-carotene and beta-cryptoxanthin. Carotenoids are fierce pigments that protect our health. They absorb free radicals and stop inflammation, prevent the buildup of fatty plaques in the arteries, fight cancer and filter out harmful UV light that damages the eyes. The most concentrated sources of carotenoids are carrots, pumpkin, winter squash, sweet potatoes, apricots, mangoes and papayas.

In addition to supporting our eyesight, carotenoids also support our immune system, fight cancer, prevent the excess storage of fat, lower the blood pressure and enhances skin health.

Orange vegetables are also rich sources of Potassium (a mineral that helps keep the body fluids and blood pressure regulated), Vitamin C (immune support), Vitamin B6, Vitamin K, Lycopene, Lutein (phytonutrients that promote eye health and fight cancer) and Folate (a key vitamin for cell development).
